An old friend and I swop emails on most days. Is there any way using webcams that we could meet/see each other on line-speech may not be necessary. Could someone please explain (for a couple of techno-dummies)how we could best do this, at as low a cost as posible, as we are both pensioners. Thanks in advance

Use Windows Live Messenger. It has built in video facility as well as audio if you want.

try using click here it is a voice over IP so is very cheap and if you are calling from a computer to a computer then it is free and it also supports webcam

Skype is so cheap it is Free!! All you need is a webcam and a microphone. Some webcams have the mic built-in, or you could use a headset which is headphones with a mic attached. PC to PC you can use Skype World-wide, and it is still Free.

Seems to be gaining ground on Skype.

Voip Stunt will ring your phone first once you have picked up it will ring the recipients phone.
