My website click here has now been online for over a year & has quite an international following. However, typing keywords 'NSU Ro80' into Google doesn't bring up any reference for my site but the same typed into MSN gives referrals on the very first page & beyond. MSN also showed my site on the first pages a year ago immediately after going live.

Surely my site should be on Google by now when using those keywords?

Have you thought about a sitemap and submit it to Google? try click here to make a sitemap, get yourself a Google account click here and submit the sitemap.

Also think about using a robots.txt file click here

I have been reading with great interest 'cycoze' and and ' forum member's ' advice about websites and search engines etc. I run a website for Ramblers and their photos ; and we now feel this site could be expanded (to improve our membership) and go on the Internet and be found by search engines. I am a novice in this and would appreciate some guidance i.e Heading tags for one thing and anything else I need to know.

Many thanks, Colin
