Web Server/Host - Which is best?

  Big Ben 10:34 28 Jan 2003

I need a new host site for our company's website - to handle web and e-mail - I've used a company called soho - but they seem to be useless. I'm not asking for freeserve or the like either - basically a dedicated host, any ideas?

It depends what you want. How big is your site, how many visitors, what sort of traffic, how many e-mail addresses you need etc.

For a simple 50mb web space, 50 pop3 e-mail addresses, cgi support, I use your-site.com which costs me $5 per month.

Similar package on powweb.com but with 250mb space

basically, work out what you need first then work out who can provide it.

if you are in the UK and you are recommending a host for your company I`d suggest using a well tried and trusted hosting company such as click here or similar

The Host I use is click here

To get information from them you should ring first on 01603 442233 this is in Norwich.

their charges are about £60 a year for a complete hosting.
