Web Page view

I had a little program which opened up all web pages in full screen mode. I have a new computer and I have lost the utility. Can anyone help

You don't need "a little program", you can change the window size at opening by doing the following:

• Close any open IE windows.
• Open IE, right click on a link in the page you opened, and select Open in New Window from the context menu.
• Resize the new window to the size you want all IE windows to be when you open them by clicking a link.
• Hold down the Shift key and click the Close icon (X) at the top right of the window to close the new window.
• Resize the first window you opened to the size you want IE to be when you launch the browser. Close it by holding down Shift and clicking the Close icon.
Now your IE windows should open in the sizes you've set, depending on how you open the browser (from a link or by clicking the IE icon to launch the browser).

When I open I E how do I click on a link?

  Clapton is God 16:00 13 Oct 2007

Er, use your mouse and left click on any hyperlink

Or, in this example, right click on any hyperlink

sorry, I know I am thick and very inexperienced, but what is a link or a hyperlink. All I know is when I put in a search criterion I simply press enter and I get a list

This is a hyperlink click here

Any link which allows another web page or IE window to open

OK getting there slowly but when I view the context menu there is no "open in new window" message

  Clapton is God 16:24 13 Oct 2007

You are RIGHT clicking on the link, aren't you?

It works for me on my 'click here' above

many thanks I think I have cracked it

This may be an easier alternative way to get your windows to open at full size:

Close all IE windows except the small one.

Drag its sides to fill the screen (do not use the maximise button).

Close using Close on the File menu (not the X).

The next time it should open full size.
