web page - password entry

I am setting up the parish web site and I want to include a page for neighbourhood watch information which needs to be accessed by a password for villagers to log on. Can someone give me a steer? I am using webplus 7 and winXP.

Try installing "FrontPage" and go to the microsoft website for a "step-by-step" guide

Alternatively, have you done a google search on what you want to do, e.g "creating password protection websites using webplus 7"???

Normally this can be setup on the server, have you checked with your web host if you can do that? The facility is usually only available on the sites were you've paid for them to host it. I have two folders on my site that is hosted by Lycos and require passwords to access them.
