Web Page Blank

  David4637 15:28 05 Jul 2009

I am using XP IE6 and this site click here comes up with a blank page, and IE says Done (OK). I know it loads on IE7 because I tried it and it worked in my local library which uses IE7. I do NOT want to upgrade but wondered if it was a javascript or an active problem. I have an early version of javascrpit which tests OK on this site click here.
Thanks any help much appreciated. David

When I disable flash the page won't load.

I can't help you ( rdave13 has already done that) but thanks for the link.

Thats really what I wanted to know.
How did you disable Flash Player, because I could not see any reference to it in "Add & Remove Progs."
Thanks again David

In IE:

Tools-Manage Add ons - Enable/disable Add ons

Thanks for that. The only thing I have which is near Flash Player in Add Ons is Shockwave Flash Object. Does that mean I have not got Flash Player installed? Thanks again David

In my post of Sun, 05/07/[email protected]:51 there is a link to test which, if any, version of flash player you have.
I can't remember much about IE 6 as I haven't used it for a long time so don't remember if you could disable an addon.
If you don't have flash player you can download from here;
click here
and if you scroll down a bit there is also a Non-IE version for firefox, opera type browsers.

Trouble is I am on Dial up and your link was so slow I gave up waiting, hence my further query above.
Thanks for your help, will download and try it. David
