Web connection problem

  BOTHWELL 13:03 27 Sep 2007

I have recently moved house, and have set up my broadband(Virgin media) through a wireless router(Buffalo) to my laptop (Dell Inspiron 9400). The broadband is up and running, but when I try to access the internet I am getting a problem. The Google homepage comes up, and when i type in something like 'Tesco' it brings up the results page with all the responses to the search, but when I click on one of the results, it shows an error saying that there is a problem with the DNS server? I did not have this problem prior to this, and was wondering if I have done something to create the problem. The only thing I have done since getting the broadband running was to run a virus update with Norton.Any ideas?

Try, Control panel.Administrative Tools.Services,Scroll down to DNS Client and make sure it is set to automatic.

You could also try ,control panel.Network connections.Right click local area connection and press repair,If it is Norton Internet Security that you have check your firewall.
