Web Browsers

Because of the current security threat to Internet Explorer, I have begun to use Mozilla Firefox. At first sight, there does not appear to be very much difference between the two, but I would be interested to have other users' pros and cons on IE versus Firefox.

What "current security threat"?

There's been a patch available from the Microsoft update site since 18:00 GMT yesterday which solves the "threat".

just go to microsoft updates and update your computer all the fixes are in the update ..kind regards akanic

I use Opera and find it so much faster than IE7. Did once have a look at Firefox but wasnt all that impressed.

Doesn't matter what browser you use they'll all be compromised one way or another. May be hype from one firm to another, who knows?
Got yourself antivirus and firewall and antispyware with commonsense surfing and you should be ok.
