wcescomm.exe - corrupt file

Just over the past few days the following message appears when I bootup my PC. "wcescomm.exe - corrupt file. The file or directory c:DOCUME~\Danny\LOCALS~1\Temp\WCESCOMM.LOG is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility." I then run chkdsk and all is temporarily well until the next time I boot up or until I connect my pocket pc via activesync. I have re-installed the latest version of activesync but it has made no difference. I use Windows XP on my PC. Can anybody advise please? Thanks.

Have you tried a System Restore back to before this started happening?

Googled. click here Looks as though you can switch it off using msconfig and unticking it in start up.Or try running C Cleaner see if that gets rid of it.
