Watching TV on my laptop

I want to able to watch tv through my laptop and am unsure how to do this. My laptop has a built in TV tuner [laptop make Acer] and comes with media centre XP.

Will I have to buy more hardware or do I just have to plug the aerial into the back of the laptop and let Windows Media Centre do the rest??

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes you'll have to lug the aerial in (if it's got an aerial input).

Presumably, like a TV, you'll have to tune in to your local stations. The manual or help files should tell you how to do this. Search for TV tuning in Windows.

Many thanks.

Laptop has Aerial Input. Will try and tune.
