Is this streaming? Or through a TV tuner, you dont make it at all clear.

It is a TV tuner

Windows Media Player is not a TV tuner.
What Astec 123 asks applies how are you watching TV?

I am using PAL/SECAM/DVB - T Desk top TV Turner (Windows Media Centre)from dell.

I think you will need a digital aerial input. If you only have a normal (analogue) aerial on your house, you may need a new aerial fitted.

Dear Graham - thank you I will looking to this and let you know how I get on.

A normal analogue TV aerial is exactly what is used to bring in Freeview digital transmissions.

However, you do normally need a wideband rather than narrowband aerial to receive all the stations; a wideband aerial is sometimes mistakenly (or deliberately by some aerial erectors) called a digital aerial.

It could be that the TV tuner is not getting a strong enough signal at present (digital transmissions are not very powerful at present) and an aerial booster and a retune may help, especially with some ITV channels.

you could have ur ariel coming in to the DVB free view box then out again into the tv tuner??

You are absolutely right. I was using common usage of the word 'digital' to avoid confusion :-)

I do not have a free view box, would it be better to purchase this instead of an aerial booster?
