Warning alert!

Hi, I have 2 desktop pcs running at home and have a small prob with the older second one. It is an Acer Veriton 3600GT. On start up each time it goes to a black screen with white text. Near the bottom in bold text is "Warning - your chassis has been opened" I went into the Bios and then into the "health" section and selected "disable" but no change. I unplugged the wire from the detection switch, but still no change. I have done shut downs and reboots, but no change. I only have to hit F1 each time and away she goes. It's just one of those little things that bug me and I don't want the computer to win the battle. Any clues to a solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
