Want to upgrade from a Netgear DG834G

I've had a Netgear DG834G for around 2 years and have been satisified with its speed, it was provided by AOL (I'm with AOL Silver). But back then it was just my laptop. Now we have 4 laptops, a T-Mobile G1, an iPod Touch, an Xbox 360 (connected with an ethernet cable), a PS3 and a Wii connecting to it, obviously not all at once. So I was wondering, whats the best router to upgrade too? My price range is anything up to £70ish, which I know is a bit lame. I was looking at this: click here=

What do you think?
Please help.

What are you trying to achieve by "upgrading"?

As most of your networked devices will (presumably) connect using 802.11g protocol via built-in Wireless Network Adapters, you would only benefit from an 802.11n router if you also installed 802.11n compatible Wireless Network Adapters in each device.

Having all of the devices you've listed isn't going to overload the existing router, particularly as they are not all online simultaneously.

So your saying even if I get an N+ Router, it won't increase the performance of my wireless devices?

No, it won't with 802.11g adapters - the 802.11n router will be backwards compatible with 802.11g and connect using that at the standard speed of 54Mbps.

Ahh! Okay.

Thank you
