W98se wininet.dll rnaapp - invalid page fault

  StephShadow 13:00 05 Aug 2004

Dear all, this is on behalf of a friend so this is all I know (I don’t have access to their PC). Can you help please?

Running windows 98 second edition. On opening either IE or Outlook, they get this message:

Rnaapp caused an invalid page fault in module wininet.dll at 017f:7022ac08 registers rax=007602f0

I’ve tried searching the archive here and can see 4 results which look relevant - but for some reason I can’t access the search result pages – this site keeps sending me back to a general page. Aurgh! I’ve emailed PCA.

Can anyone help please? Thanks…Steph

Rnaapp is for the Dun connector or in other word Dial-Up connection. Put 98 CD in computer, then in the Run box type SFC press enter, it will look for corrupt files
