Microsofts ID: 29 no help

I have no internet connection - so is there a way of disabling the above process ?

There is a Windows Time service but I don't know if it's the correct one.

Go to Administrative Tools > Services > Windows Time and disable/stop it. If anything misbehaves because of dependencies, just reinstate it.

I disabled that setting 'Windows Time' in services and error still came - will check back in - in case it has been restarted

May have needed boot to take effect??

had to disable both the 'Status' and the 'Start up' fields
