Please help.

When I first connect to the internet I get a norton warning window come up saying I have a virus called w32.gaobot.SN and is unable to repair the file.

I have tried clicking on the name of the virus in the window and it sends me to nortons website telling me how to get rid of it.

It says to turn the computer back on in safe mode and then run a virus scan, once completed just delete the file containing the virus and to also delete the value that was added to the registry ( don't understand that part but any who)

Have tried this a few times but when I run a scan it says that I have no infected files but after restarting my computer and connecting to the internet again the same warning windows pop up.

Please help.
