vulnerabilities and Kaspersky

Have upgraded my Kaspersky 7 to the 2009 version. To my horror 400+ vulnerabilities were revealed most classed as dangerous. Before I take a couple of valiums can any one out there give any advice to calm my shattered nerves. Am I panicking over nothing.

Where exactly are these showing in Kaspersky.
Are you looking at Reports as opposed to Detected?

Thanks for your speedy response Rawprawn. The list is in detected

In Detected Threats there is a drop down menu listing Active Threats, Quarrantned, Disinfected, ans all detected Malware. Which are you on?

Don't rush it, leave it set to Default Settings until you have had time to go through it carefully.
I found it quite complicated at first, but now it just does it's job quietly and efficiently with no fuss.

Kaspersky have an excellent forum if you have problems or just want an answer to a question.

Rawprawn...thank you once again for your response. I duly clicked "quarantine" but all that happened was that I was given the option of going into my documents or one of my drives.

OK Click "Disinfect all", then do a full scan. Let us know how you get on
Make sure you are using default settings
