VPN - Work Office to Home Office

Hi, hope someone can offer me some help.

I need to be able to work from home, accessing all the emails/files/applications etc on my office server and office networked PC. Having done some research it would appear that a VPN could be the answer.

In the office we run SBS 2003 and currently have a BT router. I am advised that this does not have a firewall. The office server is connected to Broadband.

At home I run Windows XP Pro and am connected to Broadband.

So my question really is - what additional software/hardware will I require to make this work? I think I read somewhere that a RADIUS server may be required? I'm not entirely clear what that is.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

click here for a definition of Radius servers.

I'm no expert on VPNs, but I think they can be set up with a standard router. Mine has some settings for VPN, as I gather most do.

click here= for lots of VPN articles, some of which you may already have seen, some of which may be of use to you. HTH
