voyager 105 modem to voyager 210 ??

hi anyone using "bt" as their isp,please advise,i was on "bt basic" now upgraded to btinternet option 1,my modem is the "voyager 105",would i benifit from upgrading the modem to something like voyager 210 ,any suggestions ,ideas etc,appreciated thanks

I too had the 105 when I was on Bt Anytime. When I changed to broadband then they sent a 210 to replace it.

I do get the occasional failure to 'boot' properly and, in such as case, I just switch both the modem and the computer off for about 20 seconds and then start again, first switching the modem back on and then the computer - the modem has a pushbutton on the back of it to switch off and on.

- otherwise no probs.

A Voyager 105 has served me well from the first BB (Aol) connection and will certainly deliver my measely 1Gb, and up to 2Gb for those who pay.

I suspect the 210 may exist because a manufacturer had made a slight mod when the next batch was ordered!
