VOLTAGE excess message

when im running winbond to check my cpu temperature i get a warning stating that my -5v is excedding limits. it read at 3.55 !!!.
I have a brand new scan pc amd2700+, ft7-s, ddr333,xp home, radeon9600 pro which i must point out is overclocked at 468/330 clocks.
your thought please!!

That's the risk you take in overclocking.

In order to function at a higher speed, the CPU works at a higher voltage.

Why are you overclocking? At the high speeds of today, the footling improvements you get by such procedures are hardly worth while - especially with a new machine.

the problem with my volts started BEFORE i overclock my graphics card. really!!

What do the readings in the BIOS say? (maybe it's the program that is in error).

What do the PC suppliers say?
