Sorry about the non-descriptive title but I couldn't think of a better one and I thought this would get your attention, if only to add 'we've known that all along' or similar.

I'm looking to replace my aging tower and the other day I chanced upon a suitable candidate. I cannot remember the name of the company and IE is set to keep history for 0 days.

Some clues:

It was a UK company.

When you go to order you can customise - different almost everything, hardware and software.

Two hard drives fitted as standard - different RAID configurations available.

Intel P4 processor.

It was around £800 before fiddling with the options.

Credit available (but not required here).

Can anyone help somebody with Mike Baldwin syndrome?

What was the question again?

mike baldwin syndrome????

It's a bit like a needle in a haystack - you need someone who has actually been on the website you mention to be able to help...:-)

The only thing is to try the usual suspects such as Mesh.

Think ITV, think of a street in Manchester that's been famous since 1960...:-)

VoG you've vaguely described the services provided by all the big PC companies in the UK.

leads me to believe that it wasn't one of the big ones, Mesh, Evesham, Dell... because if it was surely you would have found it again with no problem... (unless it was an offer which has changed!)

So presumeably it was one of the smaller, independant makers?

Was a monitor included? What OS... I see a lot of them have the Media Centre edition as standard now?

Simsy
