VLC media player - audio problems

  Cyberbia 12:04 11 Aug 2009

Just downloaded VLC media player and I've got problems with sound quality. (I've tried looking in their help files and FAQ's, but can't find anything that make any sense as it looks like it's all written for experts).

Anyway, when I play video files, audio files or music CD's the sound quality is rapidly very jumpy.

Window Media Player plays these fine, so I think it's something within the settings of VLC itself, but I can't find anything in the settings that might cure it.

Any ideas?

Are you sure that you have the correct video drivers installed on your PC?
