Same for me 20 mins install time on a laptop. HDD free space now down by 1.1gb. Wonder (bit early for this) if there is an inbuilt routine as in SP1 that would delete all the "old" files. I only ran that with SP1 last week and that freed up loads of space. Going to do a defrag report later and see how fragmented the HDD is after all this.
as with sp1, there's not really an awful lot to sp2 in you have been running the hotfixes from various manufactures sites. Loads having problems with the stand alone and certain antivirus packages, maybe best to use windows update as it knows what to instal (shouldn't make any diffence but it seems to and cetainly did with sp1. clean up click here as this finalises installation, ie no going back, a good idea to only run if you use imaging software.
Thanks for the link. Will do (another) Acronis image first and give it a go. After a shutdown and reboot HDD space down 1.3gb. Also that start up took over 2 mins as against 70 to 80 seconds before. That may well settle down though. Ran a fragmentation report to. HDD fully defraged 3 or 4 days ago. Uolume size = 53.20 GB

CCleaner reported only 1 registry issue after all this. Application\moviemk.exe could not find !
