I have recently acquired TomTom One sat nav. I have Windows Vista on my computer and Windows defender will not let me download TomTom Home. I am new to computing. Any advice?

Can you turn of Defender then install it.Defender used to give you the option of allowing or denying did it not give you the option.

Did you have any luck getting Tom Tom on to your computer. When you acquired it you should have got a software CD with it along with a power cable and connection cable for the computer. It should just have been a matter of running the CD and up-dating your Tom-Tom providing you get the 6 months free up-date.Its a while since I had one so things may have changed a little since then.If you are still having problems post back and see if we can give you anymore help.

Only guessing but I thought defender gave you warnings not block .No chance its not just the same blocker Xp has which shows at the top of the screen warning you about a download .You then have to click it to allow it
