Vista JPEG files on CD can not be read

  Riccall One 20:59 12 Feb 2009

I have recently bought a new computer with Windows Vista I have tried to burn some photographs to CD for printing and although they are shown on the CD in Vista when you try to view from another sauce it shows a blank disc. Can anyone suggest how to cure this please. My old computer was Windows 98 and I had now trouble with that.

The CD needs to be Finalised.

Thanks for that information but how do I finalise it. Please Vista is very new to me and I have not found my way round it all yet.

Thanks MCE2K5 I have tried that and it still come up with there are no pictures in the folder. But I am going to try sending them to my old computer and try it from there.

Do you still have the pics in a Haed Drive?

If so make another CD and choose the option 'ensure disc can be read by all machines'.

It might not be worded exactly like that as it is a long time since I used win98.

You could always stick the 98 drive in your Vista machine.

I have now worked it out that I needed to change the format to ISO and then it could be read on other computers. I have done this and it work Ok
