It looks like my Vista boot files have gone on to my D; partition (which I want to delete) with the rest of my OS on the C: partition. How do I move them to the C: drive without crippling my install?
Which is the active partition?
What is the active partition? Both C: and D: are configured are Primary partitions. Most of Vista is on C:, as it should be, and the bootmgr and other boot files are on D:
Ok, done it; thanks. Looked in Disk Management and switched the active partition to C: then did a startup repair
