I intend to give Vista a go in the next few weeks. I have a core 2 Duo 6700 with Asus P5w DH Deluxe with 2gig memory and X1900gt card. I have been told Not to install 64 bit right away as there will be problems with a lot of drivers. My question is does the retail version of vista come with 32 and 64 bit on 2 sepporate DVD's( I this in PC Pro) and if there is both versions with the package can I just reload it once 64 bit becomes a bit more stable? I intend to buy Vista Home premium.

Might get more help if you post in the windows vista forum.

From what I have read, if you buy the retail version of vista, it comes with both 32 and 64 bit on the same dvd.

yes you get to choose when you install if you want 32 or 64
you are correct 32 is advised
you could later clean install and change to 64
but without 64 bit drivers for all your kit
and i have read that the 64 bit version
will only accept drivers that are microsoft
signed
