Help!! My anti-virus has just found a virus in System32.exe, I've tried cleaning it, deleting it but I can't.
What should I do????

What is the name of the virus and what anti-virus program are you using?

It doesn't say the name of the virus, but I'm using McAfee Virus Scan

Try starting in Safe Mode. Restart and keep tapping the F8 key just before the Windows screen appears. Select Safe Mode from the menu that should appear. Then run a virus scan.

System32.exe is not a Windows system file. The file itself is a virus file, though there may be others on your computer.

Update your virus definitions, disable System Restore (if you use XP or ME), boot into Safe Mode as suggested by VoG, and do a scan in Safe Mode.
