Virus infected game

i have the avast free anti-virus running on windows Vista home. i have registered a game called Bubble Golden Pack and have been happily playing it for about a week. today however when i clicked on its shortcut a pop-up from avast said it had a virus & that i should move it to the virus vault. i did this but now i can't play the game. i have tried to restore it but i just get the message, windows cannot find the path/file. the virus/malware is Win32:Trojan-gen and the file is C:\Program Files\\Bubble Golden Pack. I just want to be able to play this game again as it cost me £20 to register and i love it! any help please?

thanks for your reply, i am a bit confused about how to do this? do i have to download some software to destroy the virus? i thought that Avast did that for me? is it likely that this malware is not really harmful? if so how can i get my game back from the virus chest?
