Have received the following e-mail tonight, from an unknown wench. The e-mail has no title, only an attachment -- all looks suspicious to me.sender."[email protected]"attachment "xx.scr"Should I enquire from AVG?tx, imarcus
If you were not expecting it and didn't know the sender, delete it.
don't open it. Bin it right away, and make sure your virus defs are up to date.
A quick Google shows xx.scr could be I-Worm.Ganda
If you are very inquisitive I'm shure you will have a look just to see
An attachment that ends in .scr is a script - almost invariably malicious. Your AV and your email program should automatically be blocking .scr extensions.
Not inquisitive in that sense, more like tentative -- but if the google search has identified it, then obviously AVG are aware of it and I'll do as you suggest, and bin it pronto!many thanks, imarcus.
