Is this virus?

Lately, I am encountering problems with my pointer. It's going crazy instantly running around my screen and opening programs even though I am not doing it so. What is this annoying problem all about? How can I remedy this? Thanks.

The easy way to find out, is to do a virus scan with an up to date scanner, pinoy.

It could be one of these "annoyance" programs sent to you by so-called friends as a hoax.

I think they should be classed with the viruses as they achieve nothing at all, not even amusement to the sender as they as not present to see the reaction of the victim.

I don't have any details of these things but someone else will, I'm sure.

Then again, it could be the rodent itself having a nervous breakdown. Can you beg or borrow another one to check?

I once recieved a program called 'Crazy Mouse' or something similar. Have a look in ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, if this does not do it try Start/Search/Files and folders and type crazy mouse.

That's the one I meant, Andsome.

Thanks
