If your AVG cannot delete the problem, click here and use the free online scan.

the java/byteverify virus, is targeted at the Microsoft virtual machine, and even if you leave the infected files, where they are, will cause no harm to your system.

When I went to control panel before I was unable to open java so I tried all the other things.
In the end I deleted java in add and remove and reinstalled it again.
Then I was able to open java and delete the applets in there.
I run avg again and virus at last gone.
Only took me 8 hours, what a waste!!!

Thanks for all your advise.
