virtual pc and xp

You still can,im no expert with Linux but why not try the live cd ?
I have loads here and cant give them away Lol.

Just dont install Ubuntu.

It has been done but I hear with some difficulty. Try VMWare instead.

It will run on XP home as I have it running just fine. You will get a message saying that it's not compatiable but it won't stop you installing and running it.

I have Virtual PC 2007 running under XP Home with Windows 95, 98 and 2000 running Ok.

Ok Virtual PC doesn't support USB, but this can be worked around by the use of a USB to Serial Bridge device with the relevent settings enabled in XP device manager and Virtual PC.

Even then it's not perfect but workable....
