I received a message saying that virtual memory mininum too low. I have looked at the setting for virtual memory and are as follows. custom size inital size 1440 and maxinmum 2880. My hard drive is 100GB and I have 1 MG of ram. Do I have to adjust anything.

" Do I have to adjust anything. "

No, it looks fine to me.

What program were you running that gave you that message?

There is just one tip. Most people believe that having the min and max size of virtual memory the same, helps. I think it does, also.

So you could alter it to say 2000Mb min and 2000Mb max, if you still are getting the warning.

I too think that setting the min and max size the same is a good thing. As I have 2GB of ram I set mine at 512MB. Setting your max size to 1440MB, to match your initial size, will probably work well.

I was just running a anti spyware program at the time. So are you saying that I should reduce the maxinum to 1440 and not the 2880 as it is showing.

I would run it at 2000mhz min and 2000mhz max.

See how it goes. it will cut down on the fragmentation of files on the "C" drive.
