Just in case some Blueyonder clients are not aware...they didn't give notice, they has stopped all e-mail addresses except for the PRIME e-mail address which they were first given.

Without any warning they have left, in my case, 80 plus worthless e-mail senders and I know for a fact over 100 e-mails are trapped until they can access the LOCKED accounts. This will take ten days I was told.

I very seriously considered switching to another provider and tried Hotmail but is a bit unwieldy and I cannot use Incredimail with it.

I have spent the last week contacting my e-mail corresponents and changing my e-mail address, including PC Advisor and essential ones such as bank and credit cards.

It has not been trouble free either.

Of course many of them are no longer used but, it should have been my decision and not forced on me. As it is they are assuring Blueyonder users that they will be able to use that one. However, for how long? It is obviously a step towards replacing Blueyonder with VirginMedia. ANYTHING FOR A QUICK BUCK!

My indian based help was very charming but just as in the dark as I was. a my first hour (at my expence) on the telephone to an 0845 number was not only fruitless and, I think led to the lock. It did give a glance of the outatanding e-mails but, unfortunately I took him at his word that I would be able to acess them later. Not so.

The second gentleman on the free phone, spent about 45 minutes and then said he would issue a ticket!

Good luck Blueyonder punters!

You can use incredimail with virgin media but not sure about blueyonder.

Yes I do use it with Blueyonder. Not with my backup e-mail agent...Hotmail!
