Virgin Ethernet/USB problem

  Toonmitch 18:28 09 Apr 2007

Hi, can anyone help with the following:

My PC has no ethernet connection and is linked to the Virgin modem by USB. I've got the Linksys wireless-N, but it needs an ethernet input and output. Do I need adaptors etc to get the wireless connection on my laptop up and running ?

Many thanks...

Strawballs suggestion works well with Windows XP. However if your computer is that old it may be running Me or W98 and you will need a Driver for the adaptor.

Or simply add one of these to your machine click here

To save USB ports Kate B's suggestion would be favourable and very easy to do so long as you have a spare PCI slot.
