virgin cable box

Can anyone tell me how to record one station whilst watching another using (digital virgin box)

  jakimo 16:04 18 Aug 2010

wouldn't that require opening a 2nd Virgin account?

Not possible without 2nd account, had the same issue myself.

If you have an aerial or freeview box with aerial you can set that up to your recorder.

I know they have a box that you can record programs on whether you can watch while recording I can't see why not.

Maybe I am getting a bit mixed up.
Just ignore last.

You can subscribe to V+ then just like Sky+ you can record one channel whilst watching another.

  skeletal 17:28 18 Aug 2010

Actually, with the V+ box you can record TWO channels whilst watching a third. Ideal for telly addicts like me. Mind you, I’d like to be able to record four whilst watching one.

No pleasing some people...

Do you have V+ ?

  skeletal 22:40 18 Aug 2010

Strawballs: Yes I do.

Sorry I was asking mondeo to see if I could help

Ah! No probs. It can sometimes be difficult to work out which post is meant for whom.
