Virgin Broad band problems

My browser keeps freezing for anything between 2 and 15 minutes. I am unable to gain access to any site but my email still works.

I have running AVG7, Spybot S&D, & spysweeper all report no problems.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with this ISP or can anyone offer suggestions as to a cure.

I have sent Virgin 12 emails in the last 7 day's but still awaiting an answer.

AMD2800+ running XP Pro 1Gig ram

Have you tried going into internet options and deleting all temporary internet files? I once had a corrupt file in there for my home page which caused freezing.

Are you using a firewall? It may work if you change the setting of your program control for some new programs.

No firewall is being used except the standard XP one.
