videos to dvd

i have fare size collection of videos.iwant to put them onto dvd.i have software on my pc to copy do i connect my vcr to my pc?.

I had no end of trouble doing this - the voice and picture went out of sync - ended up just linking the VCR direct to a new DVD recorder (which replaced my VCR). Worked fine!

I'm with stugra on this one. It can be done but can be differcult and very time consuming. Its far easier to connect a VHS player to a stand alone DVD recorder and do it that way.
If you don't have a DVD recorder ask your mates and just pop round with a VCR and a SCART cable.
