video wrong

  jebby7 22:41 29 Sep 2006

I have been using a digital camera recently after years of 35mm SLR's. My problem is this, when I use the short video clip mode I forget I can't turn the camera on it's side to shoot film, as this means I can only view the video clip on it's side on my PC. I get round this by using the graphics card software to rotate the monitor but this is time consuming and can be confusing to do. It also means I can't burn the clips to disk as it will only view on my TV on its side. Is there a program or anything that I can use to turn the clip round the right way. Thanks

Look here, and scroll down to "How do I rotate video that I have recorded with my digital camera in the Player?"

I hope this helps.

Don't forget that WMM will not produce an export file in a VOB (MPEG2) therefore you can not produce an output to play on a standalone DVD player. You need Studio or Ulead S/W. David

Thanks Gongoozler. That's cured it!
