i was looking at getting myself a video sender so i could watch tv on mylcd monitor. i read that they use the same frequency as my wireless router. would this knock my internet connection out? if anyone has had this problem please could they tell me how they got over it.

They come with a switch to change the Chanel or waveband, at least mine does.

I had this problem. When I tried to use my laptop it made strange noises and the wireless card disappeared from Device Manager altogether. I had to reinstall it and start afresh.

I tried all the different frequencies to no avail.

How did I get over it...I took the blessed thing back to the shop! My internet connection is more important than watching TV in another room.

It can be done with no problem IF you have a combined TV/Monitor unit such as the Samsung SyncMaster models.
