video files on dvd play dodgee

i have some photoshop video tutorials on my desktop, and needed to transfer them over to my laptop, in total the videos took around 3GB so i needed to put them on dvd (as a data dvd, not movie format).

Now when i play them on the laptop in jetaudio basic and wmp they come out all green, and no image is visible, playing at a rate of 2000kb. What can be done, could it be a bad burn?

If I recall P/shop uses Quicktime in itself and tutorials which would be .Mov files .You may need codecs or open them in quicktime at apush you could download and install VLC player its free and there is very little it wont play
