I've downloaded an .flv video file and wish to burn it onto DVD for viewing. Which video format do I convert it to?

I have DVD Flick - it won't open a flv file!

DVD Flick is not used to 'open' a flv file
It converts them so they can be made into a DVD file.
Click on 'New Project' and then 'Add title' and navigate to your .flv and then it adds it in ..... etc etc and then burn to DVD.

It works! Thanks for the advice.

Have just recorded a DVD from an old VHS Video tape using my DVD Recorder - I recorded it using the 'Video Mode'. However, when I play it on my PC the sound is distorted. What could be the problem and is there a remedy?
