Video editing with Windows Movie Maker

  naggis 20:18 16 Jan 2004

I have just installed a Firewire card and have looked at editing video using Movie Maker which seems ok. Can the movies be saved in a format which will allow them to be later written to a DVD writer? If not can anyone recommend suitable, low cost software to allow this

No,MM won't allow creation of a format suitable to go onto DVD.

I use TempGenc DVD Authoring to create the DVD files, and once its converted, the same prog has a DVD burning tool...

you could use a program like Nero to convert the .wmv files created by WMM to DVD.

buy pinnacle studio it is great for editing and creates dvds. It isn't that expensive for a video editing package and is really good. :)
