Is there a software which would allow video editing & then burning a DVD using an AVI Type 1 video input as original source captured from a camcorder?

(Currently I have to convert to AVI Type 2 before editing & creating a dvd oterwise the resultant
dvd does not have an audio.)

The only software that I have found to do what you want to do, i.e. to allow video editing & then burning a DVD using an AVI Type 1 video, Is Ulead VideoStudio 9 Upwards. Just bought 11.5 Plus a couple of weeks ago, Best thing since sliced bread.

I have tried most of these but the output quality of the video is not as good as the original.
