My old PC cost next-to-nothing. It's always had a tendency for the screen to dissolve - basically, a crash. That's been less frequent since I added memory. It still happens ocasionally but now I get a chance to re-boot with the message, "G200 Display Driver did not work correctly ........."The card is a Matrox Millennium G200 AGP - English [Display adapter]. I've downloaded another driver but am required to uninstall the old driver first - i.e. I'd see nothing on the screen?Somebody suggested that the card is knacked and I'd be better to get a new one rather than mess with drivers. Has anybody any advice? Thanks.
I don't think that you would see nothing on the screen; windows will simply load basic vga drivers.
Thanks, Dio - I'll give it a go .....
