Video Capture USB Device

  walesrob 14:14 22 Jul 2004

I'm looking at buying a device that allows me to hook up a VCR to a PC using a USB port so I can transfer hours of camcorder stuff (then later make DVDs with my existing software) I have a Panasonic VCR that has a scart and the aerial socket as well - any help or advice much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You cannot cable directly to the USB port so you need an interface box. I beleive Pinnacle make one.

Belkin VideoBus II will do this. I have used mine extensively, though it does take some getting used to. I think it comes with a basic version of Videowave or Ulead software.
