USING PINNACLE AND HAVE EVENTUALLY CAPTURED THE CONTENTS OF THE VHS TAPE BUT CANNOT GET IT ON TO MY DVD. CAN ANYONE HELP???

No need to shout!

What format have you captured in? Mpeg? Avi?

I'm not familiar with Pinnacle, but Nero has an option for adding MPEGs to a disk, it then does a bit of jiggery pokery (otherwise known as transcoding), and you end up with a viewable DVD.

What version of Pinnacle are you using
I use Version 8 and have updated with latest from their site

You should be able to convert from VHS to DVD without any trouble at all . The quality will not be that of a dvd though because the original on VHS is not so good to start with

The only problem I have had using Pinnacl has been with the sound sync. I now don't use Pinnacle and have bought Sonic MyDVD which doesn't seem to have that problem

Have a look at these previous threads on the subject.
