Vey silly wireless keyboard problem

  iqs 15:41 01 Mar 2008

I am trying to connect an Acer wireless keyboard to its receiver.
The drivers are installed when the receiver is plugged into the Pc,and a green light flashes.

When the keyboard is used, there is no response. The batteries are new.I have used many different wireless keyboards, with out any installation problems, but this one......

Any ideas please..

You need to press the connect button on the underside of the keyboard...This will establish connection with the sender

I take it you are pressing the Receiver connect button then the Keyboard connect button to ensure connection is made?

Oh, Well.... Crosstrainer is quick as a flash!

Not usually, typing fast means all fingers and thumbs and lots of errors :)

I have pressed the keyboard connect button and the receiver button, still no connection.

On my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard, the sequence is to first click the Receiver Connect button then Click the Keyboard button. The same thing applies to the mouse as well.

Another thing cold be to switch off the machine, restart and then click the Receiver button followed by the Keyboard button.

My wireless keyboard has the correct configuration sequence as part of the underside's design.
