VBA info message on exiting MS Access

  GlasgowMary 17:52 26 Jun 2004

I would like to have an info message appear when I quit MS Access by clicking the 'X' button and\or the File>Exit command.

I'm very new to this so hope this isn't a stupid question.

Thanks in advance,
Glasgow Mary

I don't know the answer but this will "bump" you.

In VBA in Excel it would be easy:

Sub Auto_Close()

MsgBox "Goodbye World!"

End Sub

I'm not familiar with Access so I don't know whether a similar construction is possible. However what you need is something like that or an event-driven procedure click here

click here may help as well.

Thanks, VoG.

You're response gave me good tips on where to look next.
